The NH Siena hotel, formerly known as NH Excelsior, is in a great place for tourists. A 10-minute walk takes you into the heart of Siena, Piazza del Campo and Duomo, with its wealth of historical landmarks, Gothic architecture and pavement cafés. All 129 rooms - equipped with minibar, safe, satellite TV and air conditioning - are tastefully decorated and either with carpet or parquet floors. For a great view, the best rooms are on the higher floors – you'll be looking out over the old town or San Domenico church. There are 5 meeting rooms, the largest can take 130 people theater-style, suitable for all types of meetings, and they have even hosted a film festival there with Susan Sarandon. For informal meetings the bar is a handy spot. You can also enjoy your dinner at Al Rastrello Restaurant. If you're there outside opening hours, you'll find a little area with a coffee machine. There is car valet service for 30 euros per night in a 2 minute walking distance from the hotel.
