This famously friendly family run hotel is situated in an elevated position, inland on the rural outskirts of Jersey’s capital St Helier, in five acres of award-winning gardens. Many of our Glentoneers have raved about the relaxed informality and warm hospitality of this lovely hotel with its two outdoor pools, hot tub and poolside bar.
This friendly hotel has been run by Matthew, Lena & Jonathan Smale since 1985 and owned by their family for over 45 years. The property is set in five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens on the outskirts of Saint Helier, far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet only five minutes drive from the town centre. The vibrant village of Saint Aubin is also only 5 minutes away. The Westhill hotel benefits from a complimentary shuttle bus to Saint Helier several times daily so exploring the many attractions Jersey has to offer could not be easier. The friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere proves popular many guests many of whom return year after year. This hotel offers restaurant facilities for breakfast and dinner. Lunch and light refreshment are served in the Sun Down Bar or around the pool and gardens. The hotel has pleasantly furnished bedrooms, all rooms en suite with flat screen TV, direct dial telephone, tea & coffee making facilities and the rooms at the back of the hotel overlook the award-winning gardens. Entertainment is provided 5 nights per week and the hotel has 2 outdoor heated swimming pools, award-winning gardens, a nature trail, quiet reading lounge and complimentary WIFI in public areas.
